AUTOBIOGRAFIA LUI GHEORGHE GRIGURCU: DESCOPERIREA DE SINE ȘI NEGOCIEREA IDENTITĂȚII

Abstract

Demersul întreprins în prezenta lucrare presupune identificarea datelor biografice din confesi- unile scriitorului Gheorghe Grigurcu. Având ca elemente de referință interviurile cele mai revelatoare, realizate de scriitoarele Flori Bălănescu și Dora Pavel, se conturează profilul unui scriitor contemporan angajat în nego- cierea propriei identități. Reperele autobiografice desprinse din confesiunile scriitorului vor favoriza înțelegerea individualității și spiritului creator al acestuia. Personalitatea hipersensibilă a lui Gheorghe Grigurcu proiectează empatie față de persoanele asuprite și neajutorate. Simte o nostalgie acută, însă reprimată, față de locul de baștină. „Basarabenitatea” s-a revelat și în atitudinea față de activitatea personalităților B.P. Hasdeu și Paul Goma. Deza- măgirile rezultate din relațiile de prietenie și de iubire amplifică sentimentul de inadaptabilitate. Simțul marginali- zării este ponderat de iubirea agape, cea care creează universul compensatoriu indispensabil scriitorului. Antrenat în procesul negocierii propriei identități, Gheorghe Grigurcu constată că armonia omului poate fi prea simplu tulburată de ispita comparării sale cu cei din jur, cu obsedantul Celălalt.This paper sets forth to investigate biographical data in the Gheorghe Grigurcu written confes- sions. Considering elements of his most revealing interviews conducted by the writers such as Flori Bălănescu and Dora Pavel, the profile of a contemporary writer engaged in the negotiation of his own identity is outlined. The autobiographical references drawn from the writer’s confessions will help us understand his individuality and creative spirit. Gheorghe Grigurcu’s hypersensitive personality projects empathy towards the oppressed and the helpless. He feels an acute but repressed nostalgia for his homeland. The “Bessarabianness” was also revealed in his attitude towards the work of B.P. Hasdeu and Paul Goma. Disappointments resulting from friendship and love relationships amplify the feeling of inadaptability. The feeling of marginalisation is balanced by agape love, which creates the compensatory universe indispensable to the writer. Trained in the process of negotiating his own identity, Gheorghe Grigurcu finds that human harmony can all be easily disturbed by the temptation to compare himself with those around him, by the obsessive Other.
