dc.description.abstractThe interactions of Cu(II) ions with thiosemicarbazone 2-methyl-1H-imidazole-4-carbaldehyde (Hl) have been studied by uV-Vis method. The metal to ligand ratio in the complexes was determined using two methods, mole ratio and continuous variation. Hl forms yellow coloured 1:1 complex with copper(II) ions with λ max = 375 nm, which remains stable at the pH range 3,34- 4,15. The logarithm of the complex formation constant was found to be 8,6.en
