Abstract
Mandatul parlamentar reprezintă o împuternicire politico-juridică obţinută în urma alegerilor parlamentare în scopul realizării suveranităţii naturale în conformitate cu prevederile legale. Fiind înzestrat cu trăsături, cum ar fi: generalitatea, independenţa şi irevocabilitatea mandatului parlamentar se bucură şi de o protecţie constituţională. Durata exerciţiului mandatului este strict determinată de legislaţie.
The parliamentary mandate represents a political and juridical authority obtained in the result of the parliamentary elections with the aim of realizing the natural suzerainty in conformity with the legal provisions. Being equipped with features as: generality, independence and irrevocability of the parliamentary mandate, it is constitutionally protected. The duration of exercising the mandate is strictly determined by the legislation.
