OPTIQUE SOCIOCULTURELLE D’UN E TERMINOLOGIE MULTILINGUE (FRANÇAIS - ROUMAIN) FORMÉE À PART IR DES DOUBLETS ÉTYMOLOGIQUES

Abstract

În literatura axată pe problematica formării şi funcţionării termenilor, problema dubletelor etimologice rămâne mai puţin abordată. Probabil, acest lucru se explică prin faptul că ne referim la un aspect mai mult caracteristic unor limbi romanice, dubletele etimologice fiind, într-un fel, produsul unui dublu împrumut (la diferite momente istorice), cel mai des din limba latină greacă (sau altă limbă), având drept punct de plecare un etimon lexical comun din care se formeazăun lexem moştenit (formare populară) şi unul împrumutat (formare „savantă”). Alteori, ambele forme pot fi împrumuturi din limbi terţe. În prezentul articol ne-a interesat în mod special contextul terminologic şi traductologic al funcţionării dubletelor etimologice în limbile franceză şi română şi problemele care sunt generate de traducerea specializată cu participarea acestui tip de lexic.The problem of etymological doublets occupies a less iscussed place in the specialised literature focused on the issues of terms formation and functioning. Perhaps this is explained by the fact that we refer to an aspect mostly characteristic of Roman languages, the etymological doublets being, somehow, a product of a double borrowing (at different historical times), most frequently from the Latin Greek (or another language), having as a starting point a common lexical etymon which forms an inherited lexeme (popular formation) and a borrowed one ("savant" formation). Sometimes both forms may be borrowings from other third languages. In th is article, we were particularly interested in the termino- logical and translational context of the functioning of the etymological doublets in French and Romanian languages as well as the problems arising from the specialized translation with the participation of such lexicon.
