dc.description.abstract | The etiology and functionality of the specialized interdisciplinary language are the result of the interaction of the fields of knowledge. The need for domain and interdomain denomination imposes the use of metaphors (demetaphorization and remetaphorization), that is, the use of a metaphor-term, by associating it with an image or with a specialized abstract concept (specification of specialized, abstract, or complex concepts). These metaphors come from various fields of knowledge and can be adapted and integrated into a new specialized context, going through semantic changes, being subject to the process of meronymy (part-whole relationship), part of semantic hierarchization, hypo-/hyperonymy. | en |
