DE LA CLASSIFICATION DES ANTONYMES – APPROCHE HOLLISTIQUE

Abstract

Antonymy as a singular criterion for hierarchizing the lexicon, given the versatility of its nature, has all the predispositions for the development of different classifications of antonym words. Given the dual nature of the word (form and content), antonymy, too, supposes the comparison of two and more lexical units, then, there will be as many classifications as principles and signs established after the analysis of the components involved. So, we propose different principles of classification of antonyms and we will make a holistic analysis.
