Abstract
The purpose of this article consists in the theoretical and practical argumentation, as
well as the development of some recommendations regarding the integration of children
with special educational requirements in the education process. The goal was achieved
through the following objectives: forming an overview of the most important concepts, definitions,
principles regarding inclusive education and the legislative and policy framework
in the field; familiarization with the particularities of the development of the child with
special educational requirements and with the ways of capitalizing on them in the process
of inclusion.
