FILOSOFIA LUI BLAISE PASCAL – ARGUMENTUL CUNOAȘTERII CONDIȚIEI UMANE DE IERI ȘI DE ASTĂZI

Abstract

În prezentul articol se readuce în discuție mesajul umanist al lui Blaise Pascal, exce pțional gânditor, savant, filosof și teolog din secolul al XVII-lea, transmis prin „monumentul neterminat”, revelator și astăzi ca sursă de cunoaștere a condiției umane, fundamentala sa cercetare cu titlul provizoriu de Cugetări.Ocupându-se de studiul omului, gânditorul francez a disecat, pas cu pas, natura acestei „trestii gânditoare”, anatomizându-i „subteranele”, vulnerabilitatea sa spirituală, vanitatea, amorul propriu etc., ca după aceasta să-i prezinte măreția și demnitatea, îndemnându-ne parcă, și peste veacuri, să ne cunoaștem pe noi înșine și să descoperim Lumina.The present article brings into discussion the humanist message of Blaise Pascal, the exceptional thinker, scientist, philosopher, theologian of the XVII the century, expressed through “the unfinished monument”, revealing even today as a source of knowledge of the human condition, fundamental as a research with the initial title “Thoughts”. In his study of the human being, the French thinker cut through, step by step, the nature of this “thinking reed”, providing the anatomy of its “hidden undergrounds”, the human spiritual vulnerability, vanity, self-content, etc. in order to represent afterwards the human greatness and dignity, inviting us over centuries to know ourselves and to discover the Light.
