L’EMPLOI DU SUBJONCTIF EN FRANÇAIS ET LES PROBLÈMES DE TRADUCTION QU’IL POSE AU LOCUTEUR ROUMAIN

Abstract

The choice of this theme is determined by the difficulties that the Romanian speakers encounter in using temporal forms of the Subjunctive Mood in French. For this reason the study is a comparative one: the similarities and differences of using the structure of the Subjunctive Mood in Romanian and French are identified and there is an attempt to define the reasons that cause many differences regarding the actualization of temporal forms of this mood in the given language. The Subjunctive Mood is considered one of the most important moods in theFrench Grammar according to R. and G. Le Bidois. The obvious differences in using this ood are caused by the fact that the French speaker attributes an imaginary or unreal value to a eal situation. The French speaker «dresses» the real situation into a modalizing outfit, modalities floating above the fragment of the designated reality.

Alegerea temei acestui studiu este determinată de dificultăţile ce le prezintă pentru locutorul român utilizarea formelor temporale ale conjunctivului în limba franceză. Din acest motiv, studiul are un ca racter comparativ: se identificăşi se repertoriază identităţile şi diferenţele de funcţionare ale conjunctivului în limba românăşi în limba francezăşi se întreprinde o tentativă de a defini tivele ce generează existenţa multor diferenţe în actualizarea formelor temporale ale acestui mod în limbile respective. Conjunctivul e calificat, în gramatica franceză, drept cel mai misterios şi cel mai bogat în secrete şi nuanţe fine mod, cel mai subtil, cel mai delicat în utilizarea lui; ntr-un cuvânt, e modul tuturor modurilor, conform gramaticienilor R. şi G. Le Bidois. Diferenţeleevidente de funcţionare ale conjunctivului rezidă în atribuirea de locutorul francez nui fragment situaţional sau evenimenţial cu caracter, în particular, real a unei valori virtuale au ireale. Locutorul francez „îmbracă” evenimentul real într-o haină modalizantă, modalităţile apelanând asupra fragmentului realităţii desemnate.
