SUBCULTURA CRIMINALĂ – FACTOR OCROTITOR AL VIOLENŢEI ÎN PENITENCIARE

Abstract

There is a causal link between criminal subculture and prison violence and the discovery of legalities underlying this relationship would lead to the solution of practical problems, especially problems related to the prison routine. The lack of extensive studies on the causality between criminal subculture and prison violence, but especially the problems that the 2 social phenomena cause in the detention environment, determines that the research subject to be current. The actuality is also argued by the danger of exporting the criminal subculture from the prison environment to prosocial environments, causing violence and instability.
