dc.description.abstractEuropean Union made the equality of all members of society to the means of production and thereby creates the essential premise for the establishment in all sectors of social life, relationships of equality between men and also their equal participation work.Examining the development of EU legislation on non-discriminatory treatment in employment must be noted that the Community has taken relatively little action in the direction of labor law, but has stimulated social policy, especially in the areas of health and safety at work councils work. Article 13 EC, preceded by the Amsterdam Treaty makes particular reference to the adoption of provisions on discrimination and authorizes the Council, acting unanimously to take appropriate measures to combat workforce discrimination based on gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, creed, age, etc.en
