Abstract

The present paper is about the stake of the journey to good governance and the role of justice, as a branch of the state power and a public service, in this process. Even if universal methodologies and strategies to ensure good governance do not exist, certain landmarks (principles) of realization and evaluation of the act of power, as well as performance and progress indicators can be identified. It is extremely important, in these searches, to be considered that good governance is a human right and an obligation of the state, justice being, in our opinion, the most appropriate potential ally of the society in outlining a beginning of guaranteeing of human right. How? By returning of the essence of justice to its origin, by displaying independence, impartiality and integrity and by being close to the Person as a Human Being with soul and thought.
