TRADUCEREA CA ACT DE COMUNICARE INTERCULTURALĂ ÎN CONTEXTUL LINGVISTICII – ŞTIINŢĂ A CULTURII

Abstract

În prezentul articol este studiată relaţia dintre limbă şi cultură şi analizat locul actului traductiv în acest sistem. Se prezintă argumente în favoarea reprezentării actului traducerii drept demers de comunicare interculturală. Sunt punctate diferenţele dintre traducere şi localizare, termen lansat pepiaţa traducerilor specializate.The article is dedicated to the study of the relationship between language and culture and of the place of translation in this ecosystem. Reasons are given to justify the representation of translation as intercultural communication. Differences between translation and localization, a term actively used in the translation market, are being pointed out.
