LE RÔLE DES COLLOCATIONS DÉSIGNANT L’ARGENT DANS LE SYSTÈME PHRASÉOLOGIQUE DE LA LANGUE FRANÇAISE ET ROUMAINE

Abstract

The present article represents the study of collocations (common lexical combinations) that designate the subject of money and its role in the French and Romanian phraseological system. The collocation is a lexico-semantic combination composed of two or more words which is typical of a particular language and has a high degree of being used in spoken language. The combination of words should be accepted from the morpho-lexical, semantic and pragmatic point of view. Collocations were studied from the formal, semantic and pragmatic point of view. It was demonstrated that words unveil their meanings just when they are viewed in lexical combinations. The investigation of the phenomenon of phraseology in a new linguistic acceptance is conditioned by the fact that in the process of communication different new collocations are often used on purpose, in order to create different effects and to impress the recipient of the message. Thus, the paper represents a contribution to the enrichment of both the current and special language.
