UTILIZAREA PROTOCOLURILOR VERBALIZĂ RII CONCOMITENTE PENTRU STUDIEREA TRADUCERII CA PROCES: aspecte metodologice

Abstract

Recent, în studiul traducerii au loc schimbări considerabile: atitudinile prescriptive şi, uneori, anecdotice treptat sunt înlocuite cu poziţii mai descriptive şi ştiinţifice. Drept una dintre consecinţele acestei schimbări de interes a fost sporirea numărului de studii empirice privind traducerea ca process. Se consideră că ceea ce se petrece în mintea traducatorului, în comparaţie cu ceea ce spun savanţii că ar avea loc, este cel puţin la fel de important pentru intelegerea traducerii ca proces, precum este analiza produsului final – a textului tradus, în comparaţie cu textul-sursă. Din mai multe motive, pe care le vom evoca în continuare, textul tradus reprezintă o imagine incompletă şi adesea incorectă a procesului de traducere, ascunzând atât strategiile bune, cât şi eventualele probleme.

The history and theory of translation know different approaches to the analysis of problems, strategies and methods in the field. Recently we observe significant changes in attitude as prescriptive approaches are replaced step by step by the descriptive ones, which respond to the long-standing tendency to make the translation a true science. One consequence of this change of interest is seen in the growing number of empirical studies on translation as a process, because, before an act of communication and textual operation, the translation is an activity concrete subject, that motivates us to ask us about the mental process that triggers the brain of the translator or interpreter at the time of translation.
