Abstract

In articol sunt examinate trăsăturile definitorii ce sunt proprii limbajului juridic în limba engleză de la Curtea Europeană pentru Drepturile Omului, metalimbaj reprezentat în totalitate prin hotărârile acestei instanţe. Un aspect important ce ține de actualitatea studierii termenilor juridici în limba engleză din terminologia Curții Europene pentru Drepturile Omului este numărul impunător de cereri ce se află într-o creștere continuă, prin care Moldova este condamnată și, respectiv, traducerea acestor hotărâri.The article aims at examining the peculiarities of the English legal language of the European Court of Human Rights, which is entirely represented by the judgments of this court. An important aspect of the recent study of the English legal terms in the terminology of the European Court of Human Rights is the huge number of applications that are in continuous growth against Moldova and respectively the translation of these judgements
