CONCEPTUL LUMILOR FRACTALICE ÎN ROMANUL ORBITOR DE MIRCEA CĂRTĂRESCU

Abstract

Mircea Cărtărescu, scriitor român din Generaţia '80, a publicat unul dintre cele mai voluminoase romane din literatura română. Romanul Orbitor este construit după un concept naratologic inedit. Autorul face sinteza literară a unor teorii gnostice – din filosofie şi ştiinţele exacte – asupra construcţiei universului şi o narează din două perspective simultane: cea cosmică şi cea umană. La baza acestei construcţii stau următoarele noţiuni: fractal, holon, holarhie. Lumea în romanul Orbitor se constituie dintr-o pluritate de lumi, mişcându-se necontenit în forma unei spirale fractalice. Eul narator răsuceşte mereu firul istoriei în ordinea aceleiaşi lumi fractalice.

Mircea Cărtărescu, a Romanian writer of the 80's Generation, published one of the most voluminous novels of the Romanian literature. The novel Blinding is built on a unique narrative concept. The author makes a literary synthesis of some Gnostic theories - from philosophy and science - about the construction of the Universe, narrating it from two simultaneous perspectives: the cosmic and the human one. The following notions lay at the basis of this construction: fractal, holon, holarchy. The world, in the novel Blinding, is made of a plurality of worlds, constantly moving in the form of a fractal spiral. The narrator's self always twists the story's thread according to the order of the same fractal world.
