Mistakes are an important component when learning a foreign language and are part of the natural process of acquiring a foreign language. The subject of foreign language lessons is communication in a language, which is why mistakes are inevitably found in every lesson and with every student. Mistakes can be viewed as natural learning companions and learning opportunities in order to motivate students to learn German in the long term. Oral error correction allows students to directly identify and correct their mistakes, resulting in a better command of the language. By pointing out their mistakes, students can avoid them in a targeted manner and develop their language skills.en
