Abstract

Control is a mandatory function of the public procurement system. It is applied by carrying out legally regulated procedures to ensure the efficiency of operations, the reliability of financial reporting and compliance with the legislation in force. The level of development of these rules is placed at the international level and of each individual country. The recommendations of international institutions are aimed at making public procurement more efficient at the national level and fighting corruption in this field. In the Republic of Moldova, orientations towards European integration are of great importance. In the Republic of Moldova, a high-performance public procurement system was created with a rigid legal and institutional foundation. In an inclusive way, we can talk about a rigid and multidimensional system in public procurement.
