dc.description.abstractThe present paper describes the synthesis and characterisation of novel copper, nickel and zinc complexes with the salicylidenthiosemicarbazones of general formula (X)N-NH-C(S)-NH(Y) obtained from the condensation reaction of thiosemicarbazide (Y = H) or 4-phenylthiosemicarbazide (Y = C6H5) with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde and its derivatives (X). The composition and structure of complexes were confirmed by elemental analysis, single crystal X-Ray Diffraction, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopies, and magnetochemical, thermoanalytical and molar conductance measurements.
