LITERATURA DUPĂ UN SECOL DE CONFRUNTĂRI ESTETICE

Abstract

În comunicarea sa autorul scoate în evidență câteva aspecte ale literaturii universale din secolul al XX-lea, considerând că, în evoluția sa de la modernism la postmodernism, literatura s-a transformat într-o teorie, într-un fel de autocomentariu ce poate exista și fără literatură, demonstrând capacitatea sa de a exista úi fără cititor, fiind o literatură mai mult pentru scriitor, iar cea mai mare realizare cu care s-a ales literatura contemporană după un secol de confruntări estetice este fuziunea energiilor creatoare, sinteza postmodernismului și a realismului, ilustrată de cele mai reprezentative opere ale celor mai reprezentativi scriitori, „acaparați” de postmodernism (Jorge Luis Borges, Italo Calvino, Umberto Eco, John Fowles, Julio Cortázar, Gabriel García Márquez, Milan Kundera, Vladimir Nabokov ș.a.).In his communication, the author highlights some aspects of world literature from the 20th century, considering that in its evolution from modernism to postmodernism, literature has turned into a theory, a sort of self-explanatory commentary that can exist without literature, demonstrating its ability to exist without a reader, being more a literature for the writer, and the greatest achievement which contemporary literature has achieved after a century of aesthetic confrontations, is the fusion of creative energies, the synthesis of postmodernism and realism, illustrated by the most representative works of the most prominent writers, „seized” by postmodernism (Jorge Luis Borges, Italo Calvino, Umberto Eco, John Fowles, Julio Cortázar, Gabriel García Márquez, Milan Kundera, Vladimir Nabokov, etc.).
