Abstract

This research supports the importance of using psychological assessments which is increasingly used for staff selection purposes at the recruitment stage. The research identified the Big Five personality trait measurement tool as a theoretical model to be used in selecting potential candidates for a particular job, as well as identifying predictors of performance and professional development potential in candidates.
