Abstract
Icon reveals a world of beauty, harmony and peace that recognizes man's edenic state. Icon is a work of art and cultural property, today is one of the most important collections of museums. The role and place of museum heritage icon in the system has evolved throughout history, suffering, doubt, mutations and changes coming from the pressures of cultural policies and collective mentality. Museums have collected a significant number of icons that you have carefully preserved as heritage items and great value: the spiritual, artistic and documentary.
