LOCURILE DE EXECUTARE A MĂSURII ARESTULUI PREVENTIV

Abstract

The pre-trial detention ordered by the court in accordance with the criminal procedural regulations are executed in the places and under the conditions provided by law. Current references in the legislation of the Republic of Moldova that regulates the places of execution of the measure of pre-trial detention are: the Enforcement Code, the Law on the National Anticorruption Center and the Law no. 69, of 21- 05-2020 regarding the establishment of measures during the state of emergency in public health and the modification of some normative acts. Examining the content of these documents, we find that the persons arrested on remand are detained in penitentiaries with the status of detention isolators, in the criminal investigation isolator of the National Anticorruption Center and in the temporary detention isolators of the police inspectorates, during the action of the law no. 69, of 21-05- 2020 regarding the establishment of measures during the state of emergency in public health.
