Abstract
Fiind un mod de dobândire a proprietății prin efectul posesiei îndelungate, uzucapiunea a determinat necesitatea găsirii unor raționamente juridice care să-i justifice existența și, respectiv, să-i contureze conținutul său juridic. Punerea în discuție a tezelor justificative ale uzucapiunii favorizează buna înțelegere a esenței și naturii juridice a acestei importante instituții de drept privat.
The acquisitive prescription is a way of acquiring property through the effect of long-term possession and this determined the need to find some legal reasoning to justify its existence and, respectively, to outline its legal content. The questioning of the justification of acquisitive prescription promotes the good understanding of the essence and legal nature of this important institution of private law.
