ACTIVITATEA CONSISTORIULUI DUHOVNICESC DIN CHIŞINĂU ÎN TIMPUL ARHIEPISCOPULUI DIMITRIE SULIMA (1821-1844)

Abstract

Based on the archival materials and on the publications of that time the author investigates the activity of the Church Consistory in Bessarabia as a local administrative tribunal thatformed part of Chisinau and Hotin Eparchy. It presents the administrative relations between the ruling bishop and Church Consistory, its functions the elements and boundaries of its activities, the diocesan court and the Consistorial membership.
