Abstract

The role of tourism in the development, cultural formation, and broadening of people's horizons of knowledge, as well as their education and training to meet the cultural needs of tourists, has significantly increased. Through thematic tourism or cultural itineraries, the main cultural aspects of a country can be promoted. To be considered a destination, a place must have adequate tourism potential and, at the same time, meet other requirements related to infrastructure, complementary goods, and services, which can enhance its attractiveness, differentiate destinations, and target specific markets.
