Aspecte legale privind utilizarea dronelor în producția jurnalistică [Articol]

Abstract

The article examines the legal aspects of drone use in journalistic production, highlighting their role in modern journalism. Drones enhance journalists’ practical skills, improve content quality, and increase media competitiveness by providing unique aerial perspectives. The study defines key terms like “unmanned aerial vehicle” (UAV) and outlines EU Regulation2019/947, which governs safe drone operations in European airspace. In Moldova, drone use requires permits from the Civil Aviation Authority and compliance with privacy, safety, and ethical standards. Drones are increasingly utilized in investigative reporting, event coverage, and disaster documentation, offering innovative visual formats. However, legal restrictions, such as mandatory insurance and permissions for filming near borders, must be adhered to. Ethical considerations, including transparency and respect for privacy, are critical to responsible drone journalism. The article concludes that while drones are transformative tools for media production, their use must align with robust legal and ethical frameworks to ensure safety and public trust.
