Abstract

The Republic of Moldova’s evolving digital landscape presents both challenges and opportunities for enterprises seeking competitive advantage through personalized marketing. This study explores how businesses in Moldova can harness customer data to drive sales growth, focusing on practical implementation within the constraints of local market conditions. The research employs a mixed-methodology approach, combining analysis of digital marketing tools with case studies of Moldovan enterprises that have successfully implemented data-driven personalization strategies. Key findings identify critical barriers to adoption, including fragmented data ecosystems, skill gaps in digital analytics, and regulatory uncertainties surrounding data privacy. Strategic recommendations emphasize scalable personalization frameworks, workforce upskilling initiatives, and adaptive compliance measures for data protection regulations. Ultimately, this research positions data-driven personalization as a transformative capability for Moldovan enterprises, offering a pathway to enhanced market responsiveness and sustainable growth in the digital economy.
