Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the factors influencing the practice of the offense called prostitution and the crime of pimping by studying the legislation of Republic of Moldova, doctrinal opinions and others. Prostitution is like a scourge in today's society, or factors such as poverty, violence, lack of both intellectual and social culture lead to the very existence of this still current phenomenon.
