This article provides an overview of the legal framework governing the external economic activities of the Republic of Moldova, emphasizing the significant changes following the ratification of the Association Agreement with the European Union. It delves into an in-depth analysis of the trends in Moldova's foreign trade from 2014 to 2023, examining the dynamics of both exports and imports. The analysis highlights the shifts in trade patterns due to strategic integration into European markets and outlines the evolution in the trade structure across various commodity groups and geographical segments.
