Abstract

Taking as the field of approach the prisoners' perception of the effectiveness of the psychosocial reintegration programs carried out in the penitentiary, the author aimed to highlight the importance of the prisoners' participation in the psychosocial reintegration programs, as well as their continuation after the execution of the sentence. Recognizing the usefulness of participating in reintegration programs as important by implementing the information received during the programs is a first step in efforts to instill in inmates to use their time spent in the prison environment constructively by working on their behavioral change.
