Abstract

The identity of the contemporary journalist is a subject of significant interest in scientific research, as it reflects the profound changes in the field of mass media in recent decades. This interdisciplinary analysis explores the concept of a journalist’s identity within the context of technological, social, and cultural transformations, as well as the responsibilities faced by contemporary journalists. In addition to traditional skills such as writing and research, journalists are compelled to acquire technological skills such as data processing, understanding fundamental coding elements, and using digital tools for production and distribution.
