Abstract

Women and children represent a group with increased vulnerability. This fact is conditioned in an aprioric way by bio-psycho-social factors. In the Republic of Moldova, women and children are particularly vulnerable to such social dangers as sexual crimes. This is the reason why criminological crime prevention measures must be correlated with victimological prevention measures and the victimological policy itself revived as much as it is possible. Of course, the digital age imposes difficulties as well as opportunities in the changing of the crime prevention paradigm. There are also changes in the way the aggressors act. They have a physical environment and already an online one. In other words, the digital space has created new contexts for sexual victimization of women and children and the agents who carry out the activity of victimological prevention of crimes cannot remain insensitive to these changes. From those exposed, it follows that the adaptation of the victimological prevention of children and women against sexual crimes to the changes that occurred with the onset of the digital era represent the object of this research.
