Item MAINTAINING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR WELL-BEING OF POPULATION(CEP USM, 2024-11-07) Buzdugan, AdrianaThis paper examines the general well-being from health promotion methods in the Republic of Moldova against global health trends as well as challenges of non-communicable diseases and COVID-19 pandemic. Some 253 respondents were surveyed using quantitative survey method and information about their demographics, lifestyles or where they got their health information from was collected and also well-being assessment about themselves. Our findings indicate links existing among behavioural factors such as lifestyle practices related behaviours that include but not limited to eating or smoking, levels of physical activity at work/home; sleeping patterns; long-standing illnesses like diabetes mellitus etc. (these numbers could be broken down this way). Finally, the connections between non-communicable diseases have been established through a variety of health practices by people including need to increase physical activity and provide support for mind health. in conclusion recommendations are made regarding how public health strategies can be improved targeting physical, emotional as well as spiritual aspects of well-being. With increasing emphasis being placed on such community- based approaches this work also underscores the role played by online platforms disseminating messages encouraging healthy living. The paper is developed in the context of the realization ‘Strengthening socio-economic and legal mechanisms to ensure the well-being and security of the citizens’ (CONSEJ 01.05.02).Item ANALIZA MEDIULUI CONCURENȚIAL ÎN DOMENIUL HORECA(CEP USM, 2022-09-27) Popa, DmitriThe period of the COVID-19 pandemic has been a chapter in which old patterns were broken and the ability to manage crises and react quickly to change was needed more than ever. The HORECA sector has always faced two key challenges: staff recruitment and training as well as high costs. On top of these, competition is becoming increasingly fierce in the sector due to the latest changes. In this respect, the importance of the problem proposed for research in this article lies in the continuous change of the HORECA sector, which is constantly adapting to the needs of consumers.Item ANALIZA IMPACTULUI PANDEMIEI DE COVID-19 ASUPRA PIEȚEI MUNCII (ANALIZA COMPARATIVĂ)(CEP USM, 2022) Stoica, Mariana; Cekani, IrisThe COVID-19 pandemic has caused immense disruption worldwide through its devastating impact on public health, employment and livelihoods. Governments , workers and employers around the world took immediate action to address the crisis, preserve jobs and protect incomes, although these measures varied in scale and generosity. Although such measures were crucial in mitigating the crisis, all countries exp erienced a sharp deterioration in employment and national income, which exacerbated existing inequalities and risked long -term "scarring" effects on workers and enterprises. Following these events was the multilateral political response to intervene to address social fragility and inequality.Item THE SHARING ECONOMY PHENOMENON IN THE COVID-19(CEP USM, 2022) Coşeleva, Natalia; Teneva, AtanaskaThe objective of this study is to examine the effect of the Covid-19 on sharing economy activities. These effects are contradictory. On the one hand the impact of lockdown restrictions has mostly affected a lot of sectors of the sharing economy adversely and for them the problems of reducing incomes and employment have become relevant. On the other hand the sectors that are booming during pandemic thus the sharing economy platforms and government have opportunities to invest in these sectors to jump-start the economy. The Covid-19 has brought some positive outcomes, however, in that it has compelled various stakeholders to improve their sharing services and develop them into a mature industry.
