    The evolution trends of the payment system in the Republic of Moldova

    The payment system is a complex of mechanisms designed to carry out the clearing and settlement of monetary transactions and other financial transactions. It contains a set of arrangements regarding the satisfaction of obligations assumed by payers and provides for the use of payment instruments. The article aims to analyze the payment systems and it’s evolution trends in the fast changing digitization era.

    Mutațiile globale recente ale investițiilor străine directe

    Investițiile străine directe (ISD) reprezintă o componentă a sistemului financiar global și un factor important de dezvoltare economică. Scopul cercetării efectuate a fost de a prezenta evoluția globală recentă a ISD. Studiul a fost realizat pe baza rapoartelor UNCTAD și a examinării opiniilor experților din domeniul abordat. Analiza efectuată demonstrează tendința generală de scădere a nivelului ISD la nivel mondial sub impactul crizei economice și financiare globale. În ultimul deceniu, a avut loc o schimbare a ponderii principale a fluxurilor de ISD în economiile dezvoltate către cele în curs de dezvoltare. De remarcat sunt și schimbările calitative ale fluxurilor globale de ISD. Articolul prezintă o imagine sintetică a evoluției mondiale a ISD, oferind o viziune generalizată asupra obiectului de studiu.

    EXPLORAREA METAVERSE ÎN SCOPUL DEZVOLTĂRII ACTIVITĂȚII BĂNCILOR COMERCIALE

    Examining metaverse, we refer to a virtual world in which users are represented by avatars and interact, as a rule, in 3D, being in social and economic connection. The objectives of the research consisted in determining the essence of the metaverse and the opportunities for the development of banking activities within it. Observation, analysis and synthesis were applied as research methods, with the views of experts in the metaverse sphere as the object of study. Banks have some important opportunities to invest and participate in the metaverse. The areas of banking in the metaverse space are the following: creating virtual banking subdivisions, banking with digital wallets, providing immersive customer services, working with digital assets, promoting financial education. The banking metaverse ecosystem contains several stakeholders, technologies and services, the functioning of which depends on the quality of the banking services provided.

    PARTICULARITĂȚILE ETICII DIGITALE ÎN ACTIVITATEA BANCARĂ

    Banking ethics is a specific form of professional ethics in the financial field, which regulates the correct behavior of banking institutions and their employees. During the evolution of the banking activity, the corresponding adjustment of the norms of banking ethics took place continuously. Thus, during the deepening digitization of banking activity, a new form of ethics of a digital nature is implemented. The purpose of this work is to examine the specific aspects of the application of digital ethics in the banking sphere. For this purpose, the opinions available in open sources of information were examined and their synthesis was carried out, as well as the related conclusions were formulated. Digitization offers banks a complex of benefits, but this process requires the development and implementation of specific norms of behavior of banking institutions related to the correct and safe collection and use of customer data, which form the concept of digital ethics.

    Dezvoltarea pieței financiare, precum și dorința investitorilor de a-și fructifica esențial resursele fianciare deținute, au condus la apariția unei game vaste de instrumente și procedee de investiții. Investițiile alternative, în ultima perioadă, manifestă o tendință de creștere, sub aspect cantitativ și caliativ, acestea devenind tot mai diversificate și în acelaș timp, tot mai riscante.
