The pandemic was a trigger that reflected both the resistance to stress of individual states - the ability to adapt (resilience) and the quality of the EU's response to emergencies. The modern world, having received the sad lessons of national egoism at the start of the epidemic, is increasingly realizing the need to exchange experience, common solidarity and responsibility of all states in ensuring stress resistance and adaptation to turbulent and unpredictable situations. In the integration processes, profound transformations are also inevitable in the interests of universal security and sustainable development.
