    Violența în familie – motiv de începere a urmăririi penale [Articol]

    It motivates me to address this topic because a large part of our society does not know, does not realize how serious the problem in the family is and what negative consequences it can lead to for both the victim and the aggressor. The need to inform as massively and operatively as possible the people who are the victims of family violence, about the methods of defense against the family aggressor, the initiation of criminal prosecution, the responsibility and the punishment that the aggressor will bear according to the legislation in force. The normative framework offers us enough legal tools to counteract this phenomenon with very deep roots appearing since the ancient period. Violence against women and violence in the family prevails all over the world in Republic of Moldova it is far from an exception, studies and data based on a limited number of surveys reveal not only the existence of phenomenon of violence against women but also a significant increase in violence marked by the high level of poverty unstable political situation and imperfect legal systems.

    At present, the world legislative system is undergoing a metamorphosis of changes, which are in step with the latest events, which are taking place internationally, influen- ced by several situations that partially or totally change some legislative practices. The act of notification defined by the notion of complaint. In the 21st century it can already have an electronic form, which is characterized by a very useful and practical one. This method was implemented with the impossibility of people to present themselves at the headquarters ,of the criminal investigation bodies in order to file the complaint. One of the many reasons is the global epidemiological situation that has settled in people’s daily lives for almost three years. As a result, it does not allow certain categories of people to move around, being in isolation.
