    ANALIZA COMPARATIVĂ A STăRII ECOLOGICE DIN SECTOARELE INFERIOARE ALE RÂURILOR MICI DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA (DUPĂ EXEMPLU R. RĂUT ȘI R. BÂC) PRIN PRISMA COMPONENȚEI CALITATIVE ȘI CANTITATIVE A IHTIOFAUNEI

    The present work represents the results of the assessment of the ecological state of small rivers in the Republic of Moldova (for example Răut and Bîc rivers) depending on the qualitative and quantitative composition of its ichthyofauna. A negative anthropogenic impact was found on the Bîc river ecosystem, which practically lost its self-purification capacity throughout its lower sector (only 2 species of toxin-resistant fish were found). The greatest ichthyofaunal diversity (22 species of fish) was found in the catchment area of the Răut river in the Dniester river.

    The paper represents the results of hydrobiological and hydrochemical research carried out in the lakes located on the territory of the “Plaiul Fagului” scientific reserve. These investigati ons can serve as a model for the ecological inventory of all aquatic ecosystems within the State Protected Natural Areas fund of the Republic of Moldova. For the sustainable exploitation of aquatic resources in natural reserves, continuous scientific monitoring of these aquatic resources is necessary.
