Item Integration of professional tasks in school projects: developing key competences(CEP USM, 2024) Sîrbu, IrinaThis article explores the effectiveness of interdisciplinary project-based learning in fostering and assessing key competencies essential for students’ professional success. By engaging students in a series of industry relevant tasks - such as market research, stakeholder communication, design development, and project presentation - this approach facilitates the practical application of theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts. The study emphasizes the significance of developing critical skills, including analytical thinking, communication, research skills, collaboration, and adaptability. Additionally, the integration of industry feedback provides educators with a framework to evaluate students’ competencies against professional standards, thereby enhancing the rigor of competency assessment. This alignment with the evolving demands of today’s labor market underscores the importance of cultivating transferable skills that prepare students for the challenges they will encounter in their future careers.Item The role of motivation in developing research skills: an interdisciplinary perspective(CEP USM, 2024) Sîrbu, IrinaThis article explores the development of research skills in students within the context of an interdisciplinary approach. Research skills refer to students’ ability to conduct research, analyze information, and solve complex problems. The interdisciplinary approach integrates multiple disciplines into the learning process, providing students with a broader perspective and fertile ground for the development of research skills. Motivation plays an essential role in this process, and the relevance of the subject to students’ individual interests can be a significant source of motivation. Teachers, as mentors, have an impact on students’ motivation by providing guidance and positive feedback. Effective time management and the promotion of reflection on research experiences complement this framework for the development of research skills. Through the interdisciplinary approach and active involvement of teachers, students become capable of tackling complex issues, exploring the world with curiosity, and developing essential skills for their future success.Item Proiectul de cercetare ca metodă de dezvoltare a competenței investigaționale la elevi din perspectivă interdisciplinară(CEP USM, 2023) Sîrbu, Irina; Șevciuc, MaiaÎn acest articol este evidențiat rolul proiectelor de cercetare în dezvoltarea competenței investigaționale la elevi, cu accent pe abordare interdisciplinară. Autorii subliniază importanța integrării mai multor discipline într-un proiect comun, permițând astfel elevilor să aplice și să consolideze cunoștințele lor într-un context complex și interconectat. Lucrarea scoate în evidență, de asemenea, adaptabilitatea acestei abordări, care poate permite atât lucrul individual, cât și cel în echipă, în funcție de circumstanțele specifice. În plus, se evidențiază maniera în care proiectele de cercetare contribuie la dezvoltarea competenței investigaționale la elevi, alimentându-le curiozitatea intelectuală și încurajându-i să exploreze în profunzime subiectele de studiu.
