For the proper conduct of the criminal proceedings, the absolute majority of procedural deadlines must be relative (recommendatory), otherwise the sanction of forfeiture or nullity is unduly applied. For these reasons, Article 230 of the Criminal Procedure Code is to be supplemented. For the restoration of the omitted term, the existence of general rules, those of Article234(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, is sufficient, while forfeiture as a sanction to intervene is to be expressly regulated.
