Studying Judicial ballistic is determined by the commission of various serious crimes,
starting with illegal trafficking of firearms and ammunition and ending with armed attacks
and killing of persons. The need to analyse and obtain data about firearms used in the commission of crimes, to identify and illustrate the criminal picture, led to the emergence of a
new field of research, namely judicial ballistics. Judicial ballistics has its own objects of
study, tasks and connections with other sciences. Among the tasks of judicial ballistics, an
important role is played by the detection and study of evidence created by firearms when
the crimes are committed.
