The social economy has long been a defining element for the promotion
and realization of the rights of the people who belong to different vulnerable groups. The
Republic of Moldova made the first legislative changes in this area in 2017, social entrepreneurship being regulated by law. At the present stage we know several companies
that successfully practice social entrepreneurship.
