Item INFLUENŢA IMAGINII DE SINE ŞI A NIVELULUI DE EXPECTANŢE ÎN DEZVOLTAREA PERSONALITĂŢII(CEP USM, 2009) Moga, EcaterinaThe influence of self-image and the expectance level in the development of personality represents a quite important and innovating subject for a careful study from she psychological point of view. The self –assessment and the expectance level are such mechanisms that are intensively and constantly researched by the psychologists. Nevertheless, the problem connecting these two entities is little studied, fact that serves as a starting-point for an ample research. So, in this article there is offered a brief presentation of these two proportions, whose contents will serve as an initiation in the scientific approach of this problem. It will be emphasized the fact, that the self-assessment reflects a person’s development level of self-respect, dignity and of a positive attitude towards everything that is connected with his/her ego. The expectances, as well, have a central place in the foundation of certain affective personal and interpersonal relations.Item DIMENSIUNILE IMAGINII DE SINE(CEP USM, 2008) Tocari, SofianaThis study approaches a quite important and at the same time controversial topic – the image of self. There are presented several conceptual perspectives upon the problem under discussion, as well as the factors that contribute to the formation of the image of self. There has been analyzed the way the image of self influences the formation, affirmation and adaptation of personality in the context of different environmental demands. There has been made a distinction between a healthy image of self (sanogene) and an unhealthy image of self (non-sanogene) underlining how they are able to affect the interpersonal relationships of an individual. It is important to analyze all the factors of students 'adaptation / nonadaptation to new conditions. The scope of social representations is to transform new unfamiliar things into well-known facts, helping in such a was people to „build” the reality. Actually, people think and behave according to the social representations they are clinging. Each society, each group has its own representations of the reality. To understand where each social representation came from it is important to find out what are the unknown thing which gave birth to it.
