    This work seeks to identify the relashionships between disability and povert and also empasizes the importance of disability role globally and the interdependence between disability and poverty. In the contemporary period, the subject of socio-professional insertion, the fight against discrimination as well as the improvement of living conditions for people with disabilities have been constantly addressed by international bodies for the protection of human rights, by public authorities at the national level as well as by researchers in the field of social security so as to reduce the risk of impoverishment, respectively of social exclusion for the people with disabilities around the world.

    In contemporary society, the family of children at risk is a major concern for researchers, practitioners and decision-makers in the social field. These families face various challenges such as poverty, domestic violence, mental or physical health problems, lack of access to quality education and others. Conceptual approaches understand these situations as complex and multidimensional, requiring tailored and innovative interventions to support families in overcoming difficulties. The article will explore new perspectives and innovative solutions to increase the well-being of families with children at risk, reflecting current trends in research and social practice.

    PARTICULARITĂȚI SOCIODEMOGRAFICE ȘI COMPETENȚE SOCIALE ALE COPIILOR ÎN SITUAȚIE VULNERABILĂ DIN CENTRELE DE PLASAMENT

    According to national statistics, in the Republic of Moldova children continue to be a part of the population with a high degree of vulnerability. The poverty rate among children was 26% in 2020. Moreover, 10% of Moldovan children are exposed to extreme poverty. Children in vulnerable situations from placement centers have poorly developed social skills. In this context, the development and improvement of social skills of vulnerable children becomes imperatively necessary. The PRODOCS NGO carries out activities that contribute to the development and improvement of social skills for children from 8 placement centers. Social skills help to improve children’s positive behavior and also, to reduce negative behavior

    În acest articol sunt prezentate rezultatele parţiale ale unui studiu ce-şi propune să stabilească coraportul dintre modul de viaţăşi minimul de existenţă al persoanelor vârstnice din R. Moldova. Ne-am propus să identificăm problemele care îi împiedică pe cetăţenii vârstnici să-şi permită un mod decent de viaţă, fiindu-le asigurat un minim de hrană, îmbrăcăminte şi adăpost la nivel de subzistenţă.
