Item Promoting multilingualism in school(CEP USM, 2024) Wittman, HanaIn this article, various models of motivation that influence the learning process are examined, with a particular focus on the field of foreign languages. Motivational structures, including academic self-efficacy, attributions, achievements, and internal motivational objectives, are presented as fundamental elements in promoting or hindering academic success. The diverse ways in which students can be motivated are analyzed, highlighting the importance of adapting motivation to the context, arguing that it may vary depending on the situation, context, and school environment. Definitions and understanding of adaptive and maladaptive motivational models are proposed, along with an analysis of their evolution over time. Research results are presented, indicating that beliefs associated with adaptive motivation, such as academic self-efficacy, lead to improved performance and achievements, while beliefs associated with maladaptive motivation, such as fear of failure, have negative effects on academic performance and achievementsItem FAMILIA – NUCLEUL INFORMAL CENTRAL ÎN MOTIVAȚIA ȘCOLARĂ(CEP USM, 2024) Stoian, Oana-MălinaThe main objective of the conducted research is to identify the parents’ perception of their role in the educational activity. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied, in Google Forms, which includes 4 questions, to a number of 75 parents. The main results obtained demonstrate the fact that parents are largely aware of their role in achieving the school performance of students, as well as the importance of maintaining permanent communication with the teaching staff. We believe that these aspects will influence, over time, the child’s school motivation and the way they perceives learning. That is why the parent must constantly know how the child manifests himself in the school environment, so that together with the teaching staff he can make the best decisions for his development. Item TEACHING METHODS OF MULTILINGUAL EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS. MOTIVATION AND MULTILINGUAL EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS(Stratum Plus, 2024) Wittman, HannaThe approaches and processes that characterize language learning in the field of „bilingualism” have undergone drastic changes over the past half century. Generally, part of the old position that bilingualism is harmful to the speaker. There is some consensus that, under favorable circumstances, the use or mastery of two or more languages can have a positive effect on social and cognitive aspects of human development. Many studies, conducted before 2009, stated that bilingualism caused harm to the child’s development. These studies ignored the qualitative biographical data that indicated the advantages of bilingualism. Moreover, in these studies it is noted the lack of adherence to a correct and exact methodology, such as: a comparison of bilingual subjects with monolingual subjects of different socio-economic status. It is evident that researchers then proceeded from the assumption that bilingualism is the property of immigrants only without language tests or a clear definition of bilingualism. This position changed, Cummins (2005) argues, when Canadian researchers Lambert & Peal pointed out the methodological shortcomings of many of the early studies that had been done on second language acquisition. Item STUDIUL ASPECTELOR MOTIVAȚIONALE ALE PRACTICĂRII ÎNOTULUI ȘI OBȚINEREA PERFORMANȚELOR SPORTIVE LA VÂRSTA DE 9-10 ANI(CEP USM, 2024) Petre, Dan Ionuț; Rîșneac, BorisIn this article we will present the results of a study on the motivational factors of swimming in children aged between 9-10 years. This branch performs a creative function – the psychologist studies the personality of a subject, constructs it, helps him change and develop, become a different person. Psychological knowledge about the internal motivation of one’s personality plays a significant role in this process. Applied psychology is a social phenomenon that affects both public consciousness and the establishment of behavioral norms and rules, values and ideals of individuals, groups and society as a whole. Scientists and practical psychologists who study personality, its motives, structure and hierarchy of the motivational sphere of people are responsible for scientific credibility, reliability of published research results, correctness of conclusions, honesty, sincerity and transparency of scientific position. The value of the applied aspect of psychology – the published psychological knowledge – evokes a public resonance: on their basis, a lot of humanitarian scientific paradigms and concepts that are significant for the social world are formed. Keywords: applied psychology, personality, motivational sphere, society, motives, values hierarchy, consciousness. Item THE DEVELOPING OF MOTIVATION FOR A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR PUPILS(CEP USM, 2023) Blîndul, MihaelaThe article addresses the dimension of motivation for developing healthy lifestyles in students. Motivation is formed by a combination of different factors, including: needs and desires, goals, rewards and punishments, emotions, personal values, social influence. Intrinsic motivation is the basis for the formation and development of a healthy lifestyle and the achievement of desired, long-term results. Thus, motivation plays a key role in maintaining interest in learning and exploration by managing and regulating effort, even when obstacles arise. This requires strong awareness, willpower and perseverance.
