    In this article we will present the results of a study on the motivational factors of swimming in children aged between 9-10 years. The research methods are: analysis of specialized literature, observation, statistical-mathematical methods, test method, Studying the motivation for swimming Test, adapted from N. Luskanova, consisting of 8 questions, sociological survey. The main motivating factors identified are the desire to learn to swim, health, relaxation and relaxation, competition, socialization, these were mentioned by both children and parents. On the other hand, the aspects that can contribute to achieving sports performance are effort and perseverance, swimming skills, self-confidence, training quality, parental support, effort, perseverance. Motivation plays an essential role in the general development of children between the ages of 9 and 10, but also in the development of sports skills in children of this age. When they are motivated to improve their swimming skills, they will be more willing to invest time and effort in regulated training and practice. This can lead to faster progression in what checks technique and performance in the water.

    In this article we will highlight the importance of socialization in swimming training and the need to include activities that contribute to the development of social skills and social interactions, but with the mention that the focus on physical and specific training should not be omitted. Improving social skills can help build well-rounded individuals who are able to work in teams, express their thoughts and manage their emotions in a healthy way. The methods used are the sociological survey, the test method, the sociometric test and statistical-mathematical methods. The obtained results show the need to implement some activities that contribute to increasing the socialization level of pubertal children who practice swimming.
