Education Reform in Moldova Project (ERMP) was implemented between 2018 and 2021 by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, financed by the International Development Association (IDA) and on 74% implemented by the Moldova Social Investment Fund (MSIF). This Project aimed to improve the quality of general education and create dignified conditions by renovating the constituency’s high school and gymnasium educational institutions and equip ping them with teaching goods and materials. For achieving this goal, 17 large schools with a capacity of 700-1000 students were selected and a budget of $12,000,000 (approx. $700,000 per institution) was allocated by IDA. The ERMP impact evaluation study was carried out during 2021-2022, after the Project implementation.
