Youth place in the labor market has been a topic of great interest to the European Union and Republic of Moldova for many years. Being „NEET” is obviously a waste of the potential of young people, but it also has a social and economic impact on the entire country. This article analyzes young people who are not in employment nor in education or training (NEET) in the Republic of Moldova through taking into consideration European Union recommendations and measures.
