Medical workers and psychologists have not found out why this or that person is
subject to migraines. At the study of the causes of emergence and ways of treatment of
a disease, personal features of patients which in turn can affect the frequency of
headache attacks often aren't considered. The purpose of our thesis was to identify the
features of defense mechanisms and irrational beliefs in individuals suffering from
migraine, and also to identify possible ways of their psycho-correction.
